Gearing Up For The Journey
Today is the 14th of August and I can’t believe that we’ve only two weeks and a few days before we depart on the 31st. Packing is in progress with one bag closed and ready. The second will be smaller and with last minute items. Toiletries, batteries, meds, laptop computer, camera and other necessities are set aside for packing. My thought is to take only what I won’t mind leaving behind once this wonderful assignment is completed next July, 2008.
So many wellwishes and prayers will travel with us. We’ve received our two week itinerary for training from September 3rd to September 12th. Ten days 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with no Saturday or Sunday break. Reminds me of ESL Academy and the Arkansas History Summer Institute. Very intense but well worth the time spent.
